Small hydropower stations belong to clean energy. It is an integral part of our country's strategy of sustainable development. The energy dissipation problem is the key projects to ensure the hydropower projects can run safety and effectiveness. The energy dissipation structure is the most important one of hydraulics problem.In this paper, the hydraulic characteristics and energy dissipation characteristics of the stilling basin are studied.In this paper, a model for stilling basin with Hom has been set up in this paper. At the basis, the hydraulic characteristics and energy dissipation characteristics have been studied.
