Design And Research On Cooling Water System In Marine Engineering Power Installation System Laboratory

The laboratory of marine engineering power installation system is the very important training base for the students majoring marine engineering.And the cooling water system in the laboratory is so significant service system that it can ensure normal operations for power mechanical equipments.This system can bring out the heat emitting from the running mechanical equipments and not conversing into mechanical energy,which avoids accumulation of large amounts of heat resulting in metal fatigue embrittlement and lubricating oil defect.Therefore,the performance of cooling water system plays a key role in the reliability of the whole power installation system in the laboratory.With high input resource of marine engineering laboratory and our country's national economy condition,we should make full use of the limited laboratory resource.The laboratory establishment should meet the basic requirements of marine engineering power installation system laboratory,and consider the needs of other majors experiments and scientific research.Therefore,it will improve efficiently the practice and teaching condition of marine engineering,and provide perfect guarantee to cultivate innovative and high quality professional talents of marine engineering.At the same time,designing a high-effective and rational cooling water system and cooling approach also have full meanings for economic operation and maintenance management.Firstly this paper makes detailed presentations about marine power installation cooling water system.On this basis,compare the laboratory cooling water system with marine power installation cooling water system,and analyze the characters of the laboratory cooling water system.Then according to the shipbuilding rules and the traits of actual laboratory,make full use of knowledge of heat transfer and other subjects,and search the relevant theory basis for the design of the laboratory cooling water system.And then take the Fujian communication technology college marine engineering power installation cooling water system as an example.According to making comprehensive use of the laboratory resource,design the cooling water system principle diagram with AutoCAD software.After confirmation for the power equipments,combining with construction contract and exact design environment, calculate the main equipments' parameters for equipments selection and theory verification.The research results of this paper make some definite reference value for the design and construction of cooling water system in the marine engineering power installation system laboratory.
