Accumulation of snow on the road surface in winter has great potential damager to human's safety. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to explore new ways for ice-snow melting because of their respective shortcomings of traditional methods of ice-snow cleaning. Nowadays, there are extensive studies of heat melting system which has already aroused the interests of the people in our country and will get quick development in the future. In this paper, a serious of experiments of road d ice-snow melting by heating pipes have been done. Firstly, analyze the regularities of variety of the temperature of the metrical points along with the heating time, change law of melting rate, distribution of temperature of the road structure layer and characteristic of melting. Secondly, analyze the influence of some structural factors such as heating power, the arrangement of the heating pipes.Furthermore, sum up the effect of ice-snow melting and the influence of melting time. Finally, by studying the total heating energy based on the results of the experiments, some important parameters of energy is indicated for the first time, which can be used to analyze the capability of the economy and rate of snow-melting.In this paper, based on the theory of heating transfer and the research of experiments, a mathematical model is designed and heating transfer of geometrical model is built. The results by infinite element analysis soft are compared with those of experiments. On the one hand it can be found that the calculation results are consistent with the experiment result and the numerical model is correct. On the one hand based on this conclusion, temperature distribution of the whole structure layer and road surface is researched.Based on conditions of actual road and environment, establish a three-dimensional numerical model of ice-snow melting of actual road, in which heating energy is provided by circle liquid. In specified hydro geological conditions, the relationship between the system parameters, such as inlet velocity and inlet temperature of circle liquid, and the system performance has been discussed. It is clear that the conclusions and methods mentioned in this paper could be used as reference for the theory analysis in designing and controlling of the deicing and snow-melting system.
