Study On Urban Development Strategy (UDS) Of Qinhuangdao

To a city, the development strategy has a prominent function. Although existing many shortages in China, We have made a great achievement in Urban Strategic Planning (USP), Based on the analysis of the practice of USP in Chinese and foreign city, this article try to formulate a model or method of USP in China.First, the paper explain the conception, character and necessity of Urban Development Strategy (UDS), and make a discussion about the object and scope of this study , then make a research on the Urban Strategic Plan (USP) of many cities or regions in China or abroad.In order to create a livable harmonious society, the paper focus on the orientation, industrial development, integration of the seaport and town, spatial layout ecological environmental capacity, urban communication and other infrastructure, city culture and regional charters of Qinhuangdao, and then develop strategies of those issue.
