Bus terminal stations are the passenger transport nodes. They link the inside and outside traffic of the city. And not only support the passenger transport, but also they are an important infrastructure of the road traffic. How to use them for the region to provide efficient and comfortable service relates with the operation of the entire region transport system in the long-term after their completion. This has a direct impact on the national economy. So the rational distribution of the bus terminal is essential, which is also the starting point of this dissertation.The layout of bus terminal stations in a city is a systematic project, Terminal field site layout method and the application is the core issue. The research of it can make the plan more scientific, and promote it more reasonable. Organically combined with other factors, the plan has great practical significance in promoting urban development and improving people's living standards. The study in this paper has important theoretical value in advancing the stations plan work.This paper combined the transportation planning theory and the P-median method of the facilities location to analysis the stations'location. First, from the perspective of system engineering, analyzed the inflance factors in layers of the layout of the city and urban traffic, which were very important on the layout of the city's bus terminals. This paper studied the coordinated development theory of the bus terminal system with urban planning system and urban transport system. From this point, put forward that the layout of the bus terminals must based on the basic theory of transport plan, to reflect the passenger terminal of the regional transport network characteristics of the dynamic changes, urban passenger travel time was a guideline of the coordination features among these systems. Then, the paper analyzed the highway transportation needs and the characteristics and a research framework. Based this discussed the forecast content and volume frecast methods, which defined the city bus terminal total size,providing an important planning basis for the layout of the city's bus terminals system. Then, discussed and studied the P median method model and arithmetic. After this, it studied using transit planning technique of the traffic assignment to confirm the sites for further options. Based on the alternative sites, estimate the fitness size of the construction sites in accordance with urban planning and land use. Determines positioning facilities constraint capacity, which is a restrictive condition in P-median model. So the model can reflect the actual situation and the characteristics of the problems better, and the calculating scale has been effectively controlled. Finally, this dissertation planned the bus terminal stations in Huzhou with brief analysis, proving this method reasonable.
