The reinforcement technology of Cement Gravel Mixing Trenchless pile has been applied to many highways and acquired very good reinforcing effect, however, the design and detection of CGMT are lack of scientific basis and methods. So it is necessary to perfect the related theory of the technology of CGMT and promote the technology application further develop in project .Based on the analysis methods and research status of gravel pile in soft foundation treatment in the construction industry, this paper discussed the characteristic, the working mechanism and of CGMT pile composite roadbed, and detailedly analyzed the bearing behavior of CGMT pile composite roadbed with vertical load.From the purpose of guiding design of CGMT pile strengthen roadbed, according to the purpose and characteristics that CGMT pile strengthen roadbed is different from in treating soft foundation, put forward the CGMT pile design methods.The pile and the soil in strengthening region were regarded as one layer of homogeneous soil, used composite resilient modulus of pavement subgrade evaluation of its carrying capacity, used BISAR3.0 software, according to flexible layered system theogy, researched that how the pile of different design parameters influence the resilient deflection under the load of vehicle. Summarized the typical structure of highways of Shanxi Province, according to the top of the subgrade soil resilient deflection equivalent method, the composite soil and the original soil are equivalent to a layer of soil,regression of the composite resilient modulus, the thickness of the composite soil, and the resilient modulus of original soil and equivalent roadbed soil resilient modulus relationship.The paper took Xi An to Tong Guan highway for instance, illustrated the specific implementation process of design, and verified that the design method is reasonable.On the basis of summarizing construction practice of CGMT pile, construction technology of CGMT pile reinforcement was researched. For the problems ordinarily encountered in the course of construction, proposed improvement measures.In the end, the author studied the testing and evaluation methods of reinforcing effect of CGMT pile, and put forward that reinforcement effect of CGMT piles could be evaluated by testing resilient deflection of road surface.
