Since the reform and open policy, our country economy has been at the fast growth throughout the condition, the hollow plank girder bridge constructs the proportion has occupied the very major part. In the bridge which has already built up, the hollow plank girder bridge's hinged joint destruction phenomenon is very serious. The hollow plank bridge hinged joint stress is complex, the failure mechanism research is imperfect, 90% plate girder bridge hinged joint of this type bridge have the destruction in the use , creating the bridge"single plank bearing"the characteristic, affects the bridge enormously bearing capacity and the security operation.Based on the widely collected research material in domestic and foreign, aimed at the present hollow plank bridge present situation, according to the existing hollow plank bridge computation theory , with the aid of the finite element analysis method, the research and the discussion of the articulation seam failure mechanism and the preventive measure has been conducted. The main research content is as follows:1. Profited from the scene investigation and study hollow plank bridge's hinged joint destroyed situation, the failure mechanism of hollow plank bridge's hinged joint has been studied. Carried on the investigation to the domestic similar bridge, the destruction situation and the main form has been summarized.2. Discussed the hollow plate hinge seam computation theory, established the hollow plank bridge Liang numerical model, the spatial finite element software has been used to carry on the simulation analysis to the hollow plank bridge's hinged joint.3. Carried on the indoor model experiment, contrasted the studied articulation seam stress condition with the numerical simulation computation , the each structure plan good and bad points has been analyzed and compared.4. Through the experimental analysis and the fundamental research, the influence which from the different angles the articulation hinged joint destroys has been analyzed. Aimed at its characteristic, the prevention articulation hinged joint destroys specific measures has been proposed .5. Depends on the project, the prevention measure research results obtains the preliminary application.The research of hollow plank girder bridge's hinged joint failure mechanism and the prevention measures instructs the current highway construction and the service maintenance of the completed bridge , has provided the theory basis and the technical support. The hinged joint crack production and the maintenance cost could have been reduced effectively , enhancing the bridge's bearing capacity and the lasting properties. The research has certain social economy significance.
