The buses in vehicle system are varied and numerous. Electromagnetic interference exists among them, which has a great influence on the electromagnetic compatibility of vehicle system. Therefore, researching on coupling among vehicular buses has a strong engineering background.In this paper, the questions of coupling among vehicular buses were studied. First of all, author classified generalized buses in vehicle system, analyzed the physical characteristics and transmission characteristics of several commonly used buses in detail. And then selected FEKO as simulation analysis software tools contrast to several other major commercial software, simplified the model by combining with bus characteristics and features of software applications. And next, author set up the interference prediction mathematical model between lines, by which we can predict the severity of the interference. After validated the accuracy of FEKO through examples, author studied the problems of line-to-line coupling, field-to-line coupling and cable radiation.Based on the study above, combined with demand for engineering use, author re-developed FEKO software using Visual Basic programming language, designed a simple but practical program, which has good engineering practicability in analyzing the coupling among vehicular buses.
