GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear) which is gas insulation metal closes switch equipment,is one kind form of high-voltage power distribution device.Because of so many advantages such as small area,highly reliability,strong security,few maintenance,it is possible for HV and UHV to enter downtown area directly.GIS is putting in use broadly in recent years.Development of GIS can't be seprated from development of SF6 gas and SF6 breakers,as the SF6 gas is the only insulation and interrupter media for SF6 circuit breakers and GIS,and SF6 circuit breaker is the main components of GIS.In 1900,two french chemists H.Moissan and P.Lebean first time used fluorine and sulfur reaction to get the six flroration sulfurs gas(SF6).In 1953,the United States took the lead in producing two-pressure SF6 circuit breaker(1.5Mpa).The Reyrolle company developed out 33 kV GIS In 1938,and now the voltage level for GIS can be 1100 kV.The first 110kV high level GIS was produced out by Xi'an high-pressure switch factory,until now a lot of factories can mass-produce 110~500 kV GIS.With the development of component and information control technique,GIS is developing in course of towards tube-together,compound-rization,minaturized,intellectualized,extra-high tension and high-capacity.GIS can be classified to these factors:the outside environment,the main mode of connection,the voltage grade,the pattern of GIS monoblock,the breaker arrangement and so on.GIS is formed from breakers,disconnectors,ground switches,voltage transformers,current transformers,arresters,bushings,cable terminals,bus bar,outer covering,SF6 gas,SF6 density inspect devices,insulators and other primary components.According to the technology and economy comparison of AIS and GIS which both used in the 220kV YueYa substation,indoor arrangement of GIS accounts for 1/3 of arrangement field area for routine AIS outdoors and outdoor GIS save most investment when adopted domestic GIS.We should choose indoor arrangement of GIS based on Project characteristic. This aricle gives an example to carry out comparison on the 220kV YunHe substation,the 220kV QiuTao substation,and the 220kV QingFeng substation.This article expounds the standard working procedure for installing and debugging GIS,putting particular emphasis on how to control GIS installation quality via four factor:precision degree,neatness degree,hermetic sealing degree,and humidity degree(tiny water yield). This article also analyzes the international operation of GIS and the main equipment accident,the canal hindering condition for domestic GIS over the past 2002,concentrating on having analysed the ZF6-110 type GIS inside fault analysis and handle condition in the 220kV YunHe substation.In order to improve the GIS reliability,cut down the GIS malfunction,reinforce GIS operation state checking and diagnosing,changing "periodic inspection" in the past for "state checks".
