With the rapid growth of national economy,traffic grows rapidly,especially the heavy trucks.So we have a high demand on the quality of roadbed and road surface.But the phenomenon of the early destruction of highway is common,this damage not only decrease the service level of road but also influence the traffic. This reflects that in certain areas of our highway construction are still insufficient, especially in the road pavement design theory,the design method, technical standards of construction,specification and so on.The investigation on the asphalt pavement performance of the main highway in Jilin Province is carried out in this paper. The main disease forms of the highway in Jilin Province are brought forward. Through the analysis on the core taken from the asphalt pavement, the comparison is made on the mixture differences between the section on which the performance is good and the section which the diseases have appeared. In addition, the reasons for the earlier disease are put forward combining with the test study. Aiming at the reasons mentioned above, the preventive measures for the rutting and cracking are presented from the aspects of the mixture optimization design, pavement material indicator, pavement structure form, and construction technology. Moreover, the verification is carried through on the test road. These measures take an important part in the construction quality and asphalt pavement design. The maintenances for the earlier diseases on asphalt pavement advanced in the study have some reference for the highway maintenance work.Chapter 1 is mainly introduce a number of issues in the process of highway construction in our province.It emphatically introduces the research status of earlier diseases on asphalt pavement. This chapter is also talk about the study purpose,study content,study method and the conclusion of the study.We carried out disease investigation in the second chapter. Our province highway asphalt pavement level of service tends to be a mid-level through the PCI evaluation;Analysis of disease investigation and assessment of highway asphalt pavement in Jilin Province shows that rutting, cracks is the main type of damage.The third chapter is the emphases of the paper , in this part we emphatically syudied the reason of disease of highway and also put forward a solution.Through the analysis on the core taken from the asphalt pavement,we found that shear strength of asphalt pavement decides its anti-rutting capability.The connection between Asphalt surface layers influence the existence of rutting.We summary the cause of pavement earlier disease and conclude that the rutting of alphalt pavement usually happens in the bottom of upper layer and the mid-surface.The reason of rutting is various, In order to prevent and reduce the rutting, we should improve the quality of raw materials, improve the asphalt mixture design and construction methods and enhance the overall stability of the base course. The study also found that horizontal crack of road surface is mainly induced by low-temperature cracking and shrinkage of semi-rigid base. In order to reduce the horizontal crack,improving the anti-cracking performance of asphalt materials and the anti-shrinking properties of semi-rigid base is important.The paper further makes clear the mechanism of water damage in asphalt pavement to provide a basis for disease prevention and treatment.Combined analysis on the causes of rutting and the force characteristics of asphalt road surface,considering traffic and weather conditions,we conduct the analysis as follows: asphalt mineral aggregate gradation optimal design,material selection,combinatorial design of road,quality control of construction and conservation management.The purpose is to improve the anti-rutting ability and reduce the rutting disease.Chapter 4 is mainly about a test road project.From the detection,we find that the andi-rutting ability of asphalt pavement using of modified asphalt mixture in the upper layer and mid-surface is superior to the pavement using of modified asphalt mixture only in the upper layer. Modified asphalt mixture have a good effect on inhibitory effect to crack. Design of the asphalt mixture using optimization methods makes it possess a framework dense structure.This structure have a strong anti-shear capacity,so that it can effectively resist the occurrence of serious rutting.Chapter 5 is the summary of the paper in which the study content and direction are also pointed out. |
