| The reformation of the University management system brings expansion, relocation and other changes. In order to adapt the changes, universities have begun building the university teachers'newly-built residential district, which breaks the development patten of the past. With the continuous deepening of reforming, the demand for living and the pursuit changes are occurring, and a new design study on the teachers'newly-built residential district is urgent.The presenting paper will discuss the essence of the study for the university teachers'newly-built residential district through the questionnaire and the interview investigation way. It reviewes the development process of university teachers'residential district in China, and analyzes the origin of the university teachers'newly-built residential district, and further explicitly proposes the development trend of it by analyzing the current state of the domestic housing reform at first.In order to provide theoretical support for the design, the paper takes the university teachers as the object of study, and analysis their housing demand characteristic from community attribute, composition of the family, occupational characteristics, characteristic behaviour pattern and special housing demand.Based on the residential design theory and practice, papers analysis and researches the university teachers'newly-built residential district from planning, architecture, landscape and other key areas. It further reorganizes and summarizes theoretical framework and technical approach. In my opinion, the newly-built settlements should be close to campus site, the layout plans should focus on the environment and contacts to create space, residential buildings should meet the function of the special needs of teachers, construction image of college teachers should meet the common aesthetic trends, create teacher sectors of the landscape MoodFinally, the theory further explores design strategy according to the writer's personal engineering design practice during the graduate study. The purpose of the research is to provide references for practice and in-depth study of the theory in the future. |
