Study & Application On Integration Of PDM/CAPP

Because the competitions become fierce day by day, more and more enterprises take the enterprise information as their weapon in the completion. As a unit information system, various of information systems have implemented successfully in the company. Spatially, the development of the implement of PDM and CAPP in Enterprises is rapid. However, the complement of the unit enterprise information dissevered the connection of the practical business. There is connection of cooperative design and data sharing between the product design and product process design, but the complement of the unit enterprise information dissevered the connection, decreased the efficiency of enterprise. With the intensifying pressure of the market and the development of enterprise information system, integration of CAPP and PDM has become an urgent problem.There is an inseparable connection between the product design and product process design. The information of product process is one of the important factor which infected product design, so the product design which not taken information of product process as a factor can not satisfy the requirement of"TQCSE". So the data process sharing is very important. In order to improve the inefficiency of product development for further, in this paper, a model of Cooperative Design has also put forward.As the connection of the product design and the product process design, and the present situation of PDM and CAPP, this paper regards the model of the Integration of PDM/CAPP. Firstly, this paper presents the model of Project, Flow, Virtual Product, then solve the problem effectively of the management of data and process through Integration of the three models. In order to copy with the Integration of PDM/CAPP, some questions must resolve. The paper presents solution of the management of process information.Finally, as to the verification studied above, this paper takes the MitPDM/CAPP system applying to some Company of Hydraulic parts as an example , introduces the solution of that company.
