The infrared imaging system mostly runs to the miniaturization, the high definition, the low illuminating power, bargain price and portable equipment.Along with the infrared semiconductor luminescent material appearance and the illumination performance enhancement,it has provided solution of great value for the active infrared imaging system. the active infrared imaging system is mainly composed by the infrared photosource, the infrared optical system, the infrared image converter, the high voltage convertor and the battery .In answer to the call of developing greatly the semiconductor illumination, The dissertation mainly aims to the environment of energy-saving and no power-wasting at present,and the domestic infrared photosource development can not satisfy with economical development.So the research contents have been established in the dissertation.Based on the theory of infrared radiation transmission ,The dissertation has first studied the transmission characteristic of infrared radiation in the atmospheric and the optical material choice,as well as compared with several kinds of common infrared radiation photosources ; Then through studying the principle of semiconductor luminescent material, a kind of LED has been found which the GaAlAs material is took as illumination chip. The dissertation has studied the characteristic of infrared LED and three measures to make the illuminating system increase the output power when near-infrared LED is took as long-distance lighting photosource, and an idea of illuminating system has been proposed which is made up of infrared LED. Finally one kind of new collimation optical system has been designed for the infrared LED photosource can achive long-distance illumination,Simultaneously a heat-sink solution of the infrared LED array photosource has been proposed.Designing and using photosource correctly is key to get good effect for active infrared imaging system. Through studying the theory of infrared radiation, these researches have mainly been completed by the dissertation: infrared radiation rationale and the infrared spectrum knowledge have been expertly comprehended, and the characteristic of infrared signal transmitting in atmosphere has been researched, simultaneously the spectral coverages which are fitted to near infrared imaging system have been picked out; near-infrared transmission characteristic in atmosphere , the characteristic of object infrared transmission and the choice of infrared optical material have been researched, and the manufacturing materials which are fitted to optical lens and parabolic reflector have been picked out ,at the same time the parabolic reflector has been designed; each kind of infrared photosource has been known well, several kinds of major infrared photosources have been understood and compared,and each characteristic of infrared LED has been researched; infrared LED array photosource system design which is fitted to monitor stably in the laboratory has been researched,and one kind of new collimation optical system has been designed for infrared LED array photosource can achive long-distance illumination.In order to make the system work at as far as possible environment of low temperature , voltage-stabilizing and constant current, a heat-sink solution of the infrared LED array photosource has been proposed.
