Technical And Economic Evaluation For Continental Island Passenger (Ro-Ro) Ship In Liaoning Province

Continental island transportation by sea is an important part in Liaoning Province,it plays an important supporting role in Liaoning economic development and tourism development in the islands.As the continental island transportation by sea is the only kind of inter-island transport modes,and it is closely related to residents of the trip,production and life,transport security issues are increasingly attach great importance to national governments and departments in charge of transportation at all levels。In recent years,with Liaoning province's rapid economic development,the number of ship and passenger in Liaoning's continental island transportation also grow fast,significant increase in passenger traffic and strict security requirements have great challenge to transport functional and technical conditions of the existing continental island transportation ship.Therefore,it has great significance to construct a reasonable system of technical and economic evaluation for continental island passenger(Ro-Ro) ship in Liaoning Province.This paper from the Liaoning Provincial Transport Department project,"continental island Ro-Ro passenger ship in Liaoning Province Comparison and Selection Guide" in the "Safe hull form study of continental island passenger(Ro-Ro) ship in Liaoning Province", This project commitmented by Dalian University of Technology CAD Project Center and the Dalian Maritime University,initiated by Liaoning Province communications sea transport administration bureau.The main content is as follows:(1) The diagnoses of exiting ship including the ship type,principal dimensions,general arrangment and the port,the harbor,the technology condition of the existing ship,the related policy and rule of law and so on.(2) Analysis the technical characteristics of the continental island passenger(Ro-Ro) ship,in accordance with the specific characteristics of the island transport,reflect the transportation of passengers and vehicles transported some of the special structure of the new targets.The new system ships with dead weight to the general function of income for the calculation system to be converted to passenger(vehicle) for the calculation of the system function,and the new system will be fundamental to the technical and economic evaluation for continental island Ro-Ro passenger ship,has been proven to be reasonable in the paper; (3) This paper includes evaluation and comparison for exiting ship and the system of the technical and economic evaluation of continental island passenger(Ro-Ro) new ship.The system has been developed and can help establish a set of reasonable ship principal dimensions on the condition of passenger(vehicle) capacity,and a large number of projects can be produced based on it,then calculations can be figured out for evaluation and comparison for all the schemes can be obtained.Finally sensitivity analysis of chief factors has also been given.
