| Coal combustion performance has very important influence on boiler design, alteration, combustion adjusting, and operation. It is also a basis of specialized boiler. For modern boilers, coal conventional analysis numerical value is very limited to forecast coal combustion process. Traditional proximate analysis and ultimate analysis result can not meet the requirement; even such as the coal combustion performance. Designed boiler safety and boiler economic operation can be guaranteed on condition that the ignition, burnout and slag characteristics of coal can be understood. Currently, some analysis method used in power plants costs much time and has complicated process, in result it can not give the necessary information in time and effectively. So a simple and effective way to detect coal performance is very important for power plants.In order to use the coal efficiently and safely, coal combustion performance is one of the indexes for combustion optimization. The constant-volume combustion method is a new analysis way. It can obtain the P-t and DP-t curve according to the change process of pressure for different kinds of coal samples from ignition to burn-out in the oxygen bomb, analysis variety regulation of the coal sample's combustion character (ignition properties, burn-out time) according to the curves of P-t and DP-t.On the basis of different coal sample quantity and different oxygen pressure, experiments are carried out to six coal samples in this paper, find out whether the former condition has influence on the coal combustion performance and figure out the optimization process. |
