As a new type of pulsed power supply, compensated pulsed alternator(CPA) concentrates all the functions of energy storage, electromechanical conversion and power conditioning in one machine. These integrating advantages make it the promisingly compact power supply system suitable for electro-thermal chemical gun (ETCG). Now the researches of application of CPA are developed in many nations, and the research scale & technical level are improved greatly. motor speedding is considered as the best way to Improve the kinetic energy storage. In particular, the high speed requst the qualitify mechanical properties of rotor itself. To compensated pulsed alternator ,Based on the high-speed pulse generators compensation, high pulse current, high energy and other special conditions.Transfer matrix method has been used to analyse critical rotor speed . Several fitting Allowance of compensating shield are evaluated by using a finite element analysis soft ANSYS. definition of a more detailed analysis of the rotor core barrel and compensation issues with the choice of tolerance; using simple beam theory assumptions estimated the thickness of the rotor Wedge of Wedge by finite element simulation; detailed description of the critical speed of the rotor system, using the MATLAB software to analyze its basic characteristics of the rotary movement, rotor vibration simulation; Rotor cross-section of low-cycle fatigue and stress for a detailed calculation and simulation. Through a series of work, the basic design of the motor rotor compensation method. All the work this thesis has done can offer theoretical and experimental guides for the optimization design and discharge system experiment of CPA.At last, the shortcomings and proposals and expectations is given in the paper.
