| Water distribution systems in city are the most important method of supplying fire flow. Whether or not supplying enough fire flow, deciding success or failure of fire succor. In our country, the methods of choosing city fire flow and design parameters are not reworked all along, and we continue to use technical parameter of old Soviet Union in 1960 decades, the contradiction that standards of fire flow are lower is more and more evident. Following our country's economic rapid development, city scope and construction volume and form are all increasing rapidly. Thus, According to our ways and design parameters, we designed and constructed water distribution systems of city, the systems would exit lack of water supply and low of residual water supply pressure and so on.No other than choosing scientific and reasoned design parameter of city fire flow, we can ensure that water distribution systems built in city is capable of supplying enough fire flow and residual water supply pressure.In this text, I researched and analyzed city fire water supply status of our country and correlated criterion of our country for fire water supply. On the basis of that, some questions about city fire water supply were firstly discussed. Then, Aiming at the question of illogical choosing of city fire flow, I researched and analyzed the methods of counting and choosing city fire flow of the developed country. Finally, combined the status of our investigation in fire department of various district, I put forward the methods of choosing city fire flow in various cities. The methods are assessed and verified in example, and be proved that it can provide more scientific parameter for planning of Water distribution systems or planning of city fire protection.On the other hand, aiming at the question that the capability of fire flow supply of Water distribution systems cannot be tested, I put forward a method of testing in this text. Then, I researched and analyzed its application on fire protection and so on. |
