With Digital imaging technology widely used ,The clinical application ofdigital X-ray imaging system is becoming mature. Comparing with traditional X-rayimaging digital X-ray imaging system in the image acquisition, display,post-processing, storage and transmission functions shows incomparable advantagesand developing prospects. This paper aim at the digitizing transformation for analog X-ray machines. Thesystem consists of X-ray machines, image intensifier, a CCD camera, a PCI medicalimage acquisition card and the control system. Under the control of the acquisitionand control system, X-ray image intensifier is enlarged and turned into visiblefluorescence. Fluorescence from the CCD TV system generates television signals andtransmittes to the professional image acquisition cards for A/D conversion andacquisition. Control systems can be easy to set up the frequency by acquisition andstored images. Meanwhile, a new application system for image processing wasformed, its functions involve in scaling, measurement, window width and positionadjustment, gray level transformation, filter .New system still have such functions asDICOM communications and the common image formats (e.g.BMP) converting tostandard DICOM format.
