The studies mainly investigate the mechanic anchorage property of headed reinforcement in reinforced concrete through two parts of research:1,4 full-scale knee beam-column joint tests were finished. Joints for tests contain longitudinal bars with conventional 90°bent hooks or anchorage plate. Joint specimens were under the cyclic load during the test. Based on measurement and analysis of strain of longitudinal bars, shear deformation of core area of joint, envelope curve in different loading stages, the anti-seismic performance of these new types of knee joints which contain headed reinforcement is investigated. Ductility capacity of knee joints which contain longitudinal bars with 90°bent hooks or anchorage plate are compared.2,2 full-scale beam tests were finished. Beams for tests contain longitudinal bars with anchorage plate. Observe the total anchorage capacity to find out the right form of the transverse reinforcement in the zone of lap splices. The creative results in this report are as follows:1,There are some shortcomings of the traditional form of the knee beam-column joint. For example, the reinforcements of the joint are so crowded that it's difficult to pour the concrete. And traditional form's bearing capacity of load is not good performance.2,longitudinal bars with anchorage plate can meet some deficiencies of the traditional form of the knee beam-column joint, but this time we don't have enough specimens to find out the appropriate knee beam-column joint form. So some more research is needed in the next time.3,In this paper, the behavior of headed reinforcement in concrete was studied using full-scale tests of lap splices. The effect of the lap length and the form of the transverse reinforcement in the lap zone were studied.
