At present, a number of the piles were applied internal and international,the design load of which reached ten thousand tons. There are a variety of conditions of pile testing existing, such as testing pile on the water, in hillside fields and in narrow fields. Obviously, the traditional load testing has not been adapt to the development of pile testing gradually. The self-balanced loading test is the effective way to solve the problems of the load testing. The self-balance loading test is practical to the high load piles and adapt to the conditions of pile testing. Therefore, the future of the self-balance loading test is bright.The open angle of Haihe Balance Bridge is 85°. The carrying capacity of pile is about 22000kN in the main pier. It is necessary to transport a lot of items to provide load using the traditional load testing because of the huge carrying capacity. The pile is in the river. It is difficult to use the traditional load testing because of the limitations of excavation. Therefore, it is advised to use the self-balance loading test. It can be solved to test pile on the water.The self-balance loading test is different with the traditional test of the way of load, the state of stress of pile, the interaction of pile and soil, the transfer path of load. It makes self-balance loading test and the traditional load test error. It is necessary to establishment reasonable mathematics and physics model according to the mechanism of the interaction of pile and soil in the self-balance loading test and take the scientific approach to realize accurate conversion between the results of the self-balance loading test and the traditional load test. Therefore, the accurate result can be acquired.The two kinds of the way of conversion used in the project commonly are introduced in this paper mainly, and the friction conversion is derived. It is analyzed that the affection and the reason of the inflatable device lied in different positions taking ABAQUS, the reasonable element, the same parameters of the material as the project. It showed in result that the error of the load can be ensured less than 5% when inflatable device is lied in the pile distance to the self-balance point is less than 5% of the pile on or under the self-balance point.Finally, the problems needing further research are put forward based on summing up the paper completely.
