With the rapid development of economy, many kinds of high-rise buildings, long-span bridges and large industrial plants is used more and more, so that the high bearing capacity of the pile foundation used more widely. As a new type of pile foundation of the static loading test technology, the O-cell loading test for pile capacity effectively compensates for and sloves the defects of the conventional static loading test,and the simple equipment,convenient operation,space and time saving, security, economic, make it widely used in many country.This paper take the Changsha subway station rock-socketed uplift pile and the Dongguan Lichuan bridge rock-socketed compressive pile self-Balanced loading pile test as a foundation, elaborates the commonly used getting pile bearing capacity of the test method at present. According to the domestic and international on the balance of the application of test condition, For a more detailed analysis about working mechanism and the axial load transfer law of the self-Balanced pile,and the comparative analysis of self-Balanced pile and conventional test pile by working mechanism and the axial load transfer law is made. Combined with the engineering practices, to has detailed summarized test principle, test equipment, test process and test method of the self-Balanced loading pile test.Combined with field self-Balanced loading pile test of the Changsha subway station and Dongguan Lichuan bridge. Get this method in the large rock-socketed compressive (uplift) pile engineering of the application of the specific measures and method of data processing. The O-cell loading test of rock-socketed pile is numerically simulated by ABAQUS finite element software,and conduct a comparative analysis with the calculation results and the measured data, demonstrating the rationality of the finite element model.At last, the conventional static loading test of the pile on the same site under the same conditions is modelled. The load-movement curve of the conventional static loading test and the equivalent-treatment curve are compared and draw some useful conclusions.
