Slippage shipment is an important step of the construction process of large structure including platform jackets and platform blocks, pulling large structure to barge along guide way with winch. At present this technology is in monopolistic and technique secret, and research is not thorough at home. It is a burning question that how to control the operation of slippage shipment reasonably and improve reliable and efficient.The load status of barge and stability, tide, other correlative factors'influence is analyzed during different stages of slippage shipment. In particular, optimal adjustment of barge is focused on. The main research of this paper can be concluded as follows:1. Slippage shipment process of structure, operation designation of slippage shipment process of different structure and correlative environment factors that influences slippage shipment is studied. Based on ship statics theory, floating status and stability of barge is analyzed and calculated during slippage shipment.2. Load variance of slippage shipment process and the force the barge is imposed is analyzed. According to operation requirement of slippage shipment and ship statics theory, general adjustment model of ballast water is established.3. Decision-making of ballast water adjustment of barge is studied as a two-step, including optimization of water volume adjusted and optimization of adjustment time. Two mathematical models with constraints are constructed, and corresponding penalty function method for solving them is also introduced. Programs are compiled under MATLAB environment in order to work out the two models.4. The simulation experiment system is constructed and optimization adjustment software based on VB and MATLAB is designed, in order to simulate the process of slippage shipment. The optimization model and software is validated through experiments.
