Study On The Real Time Issue System Of Transportation Information Based On PDA

With the rapid social economy growth, the number of motor vehicles is increasing rapidly, traffic congestion and accident is also occurring frequently. Using Intelligence Traffic Management System(ITMS), traffic congestion, traffic accident and traffic pollution can be reduced, the level of traffic management can also be improved.Real time issue system of transportation information is an important component of Intellectual Transportation Management System(ITMS),which is a special system that provides transportation information worked to transportation superintendents and drivers by some ways. In the dissertation, based on analysis about transportation information and issue system of transportation information,"Issue System of Transportation Information Based on PDA"is mainly researched, the technology of electronic map's data organization and real time displaying transportation information is also researched emphatically.The achievement of the dissertation is as follows:1. The deep research to the digital map is conducted, and according to the systematic need, the re-development of the map is carried out on the foundation of the path chat, the label chart level used in marking the path name is produced.2. Using GIS's OGR to read the digital map information.3. The map unit is stored reasonably according to digital map's characteristic, through experiment and analysis, the storage structure is optimized and the nicer result is obtained.4. A real time issue system of transportation information is designed. The system can show real time transportation information to user by the mode of PDA graphics, and it also has the function of graph migration,zooming and obtaining real time transportation information. The real time transportation information can be obtained by manual mode and automatic mode. By analyzing the result of the system test, several question which still needed to solve is stated at last.
