| In view of a variety of problems in bridge inspection, a special equipment called the bridge inspection vehicle which is safe,precise and efficient for bridge inspection is widely used. Based on the comprehensive investigations of all kinds of bridge inspection vehicles and also the actual situation of bridge construction, the research group developed a high-powered truss bridge inspection vehicle.Based on the detailed introduction of the primary structure and the work principle of the vehicle, the running stability was analyzed. The static and dynamic characteristics of the unitary truss structure were simulated by the software of Finite Element Method (FEM). The optimization model was established based on reducing the mass of the unitary truss structure chosen as the objective functions. The dimensions of the key parts were optimized by ANSYS.The research results indicate that the structure and the automatization of the vehicle are inaugurated compared to the others. The running stability is also in safety. The static analysis results indicate that the intensity and the rigidity of the truss structure are accord with the design demands. The resonance phenomenon of the structure is not seen in the mode analysis. The mass of the vehicle is decreased by the FEM optimization.The research results provide some useful references for the improvement design of the bridge inspection vehicle. |
