High-speed is one of the most important development directions of railway modernization in China. With the great development of high-speed railway, it is urgent and vital to ensure the quality and the comfortability of the carriage, with the speeding-up of the train. Therefore, the study on rational selection of railway location design parameter based on passenger comfort is one of the basic research subjects of high-speed railway.The thesis firstly summarizes the currently domestic and international researches on the passenger comfort of railway and also the situation of development pertinent to the issue.It is confirmed that staionarity is the most primary influence factor on comfortability, by discussing the theory of passenger comfort. Within various evaluation criterions, the standard of IS02631 is demonstrated suitable for Chinese high-speed railway.This paper analyzes the research method on main location design parameters of high-speed railway line, such as minimum radius of circular curve, type and length of transition curve and radius of vertical curve.It is ascertained that the overlap condition of vertical and circular curves is the overlap among vertical curves of standard radius and circular curves of greater than minimum radius under difficult situations.Then,by analyzing construction features and interaction between vehicle and track, the author use a dynamic model of Vehicle—Track Coupling System for reference. Based on the model, comfort index value of design parameters in the plane and longitudinal section of high-speed railway is calculated under four conditions , and recommended value in accord with IS02631 is put forward.In the end, the Railway Comfortability Comprehensive Evaluation Program is compiled to evaluate the comfort dynamic influence of the recommended parameter value, proving the recommended value rational.
