The Public Space Circumstances Investigation Of The Modern Railway Station

The trend of railway transportation high-speed, the passenger capacity fast increasing, and the railway station function complication has set the new request to the public space environment design of railway station. At present the railway operation pattern is that the high-speed railway is fast developed, while the traditional railway also exists in a long time。The corresponding railway station construction is different with that of tradition railway,and also is different with that of high-speed railway station overseas,which reflects the"Chinese characteristic"of railway station's public space pattern,namely we cannot completely either inherit the old pattern"waiting type",nor imitate the advanced pattern overseas"passing type".This article first has carried on the discussion to the railway station development and the design concept evolution, and analyzed the various influencing factors to the railway station's public space. There are many kinds of railway station's public spatial form and the article has carried on the discussion regarding this, simultaneously, paid attention to the public spatial environment's humanization as well as the spatial quality enhancement. And also attempts to discover the railway station's public space environment design pattern to suit to the Chinese national condition, which can provide certain theory reference to the domestic high-speed railway station design, constructed soon, and also provide some help to the massive newly built, the reconstruction and the extension of the traditional railway station.Regarding to our country's actual situation, the public spatial design contradiction are less in the middle and small railway station, , therefore this article mainly locates in the extra large, the large as well as the middle railway station's public space design. (According to "Railway Station Architectural Design Standard", namely the railway station accumulated the highest population 2000 above.) Because waiting space is always the main spatial form of the railway station, therefore this article will focus on it to launch the research on the railway station's public space environment.
