Massive extra blast furnace gas (BFG) comes up with the 1350m3 blast furnace completion in Chongqing Steel Works Corporation, and it is beyond the demand of former thermal dynamical equipments. If we exhausted them into the atmosphere directly, the environment is polluted and the precious secondary-class energy is fully wasted, so we must construct a new thermaldynamical system to utilize the surplus blast furnace gas. After balance calculation of surplus BFG and economy& running organization analysis to two generation schemes, we chose the scheme of the steam turbine power system completely burning surplus blast furnace gas. As we known, the blast furnace gas is extremely low heat value, violently poisonous and explosive, so in the steam turbine power generation system completely burning BFG., we must concentrate to solve the technical problem of stability burning blast furnace gas and furnace deflagration.By analyzing the blast furnace gas combusting characteristic, the combustors are designed as the double-rotation combustor, and they are arranged in terms of multi-layered corner tangential combustion. A regenerative burning equipment and boiler furnace security guarantying system are designed to use for the steady combustion in boiler furnace according to combustion mechanism and firing theory of blast furnace gas. All these can accommodate safe and steady running of steam turbine power system completely burning blast furnace gas. Finally, the analysis and reorganization to existing problem in fore-running in this paper, the economy and the social efficiency comprehensive analysis for the entire project is also presented.
