In the process of economy construction of our country, that including steer equipment,bridge and cable,fiber or electronic product,fruit and farm produce and so on concerns the national economy and the people's livelihood, and relates to every aspect of people's life, so it is important and necessary to detect its healthy level. The detecting on the defect of object surface is the vital method of detecting of object's health, and can directly show the status of object's defect. It is useful to guarantee people's security and ensure people's economical profit by the way of detecting and controlling the surface defect of the object. At the same time, real-time detection on it can be applied to the automation detection of the products which is in favor of promoting the production efficiency, and reducing the cost, so it is worthy of attaching importance to research on the real-time system of the detection of the surface defect of the object.This project aims to the defect of the object, after analyzing and studying the present situation and methods at home and abroad, the scheme of real-time detection of the object's surface defect based on DSP was put forward. In this project, the system completes the acquisition of the object's surface defect by means of the CCD sensor, and transmits the data of the image of defect after the processing by the circuit named video decoder circuit. In the system design,TMS320DM642 which belongs to TI company is set as the key processor, combines several circuit modules which is composed of the Flash boot loader,memory(including the SDRAM and the CF card),CPLD controlling circuit,system power and timers, and completes processing,transmitting and saving the image of defect on the surface of the object.This paper starts with analyzing the principle of the system design, has completed the design of schematic circuit diagram,PCB design and the design of the system EMC ,then debugged the entire circuit design, completed the real-time acquisition,transmission and storage of the defect's image,and provided a reliable hardware platform for the data of the defect of the object's surface with further processing. The system design has a series of characteristics, including non-contact detection,general purpose,high speed,small scale,lower cost and so on,and possesses great practical value and application prospect.
