The frame of Large Radar Antenn vehicle is the main component with large quality and size. So it is great signifance to reasearch on the weight lighting frame in the condition of ensuring reasonable strength and stiffness of the frame.The research is an advanced and hot question in recent years, it relates with the energy-saving and environment protection closely. In this paper, the importance of the structural light weighting research and the research at home and aboard is provided, and its trend is analyzed, the gap between our country and others in this field are analyzed, and the design idea of Research on lightweight for Large Radar Antenn vehicle is put forward.Then, the approaches of weight lighting are studied. The methods and basic theories of structure optimizitiong have been introduced. The mathematical models of size parameter optimizition are researched. And the scheme of weight lighting research on frame of Large Radar Antenn vehicle is put forward.Based on these effores. It also analyzed the structural features of vehicle and frame, built the geometrical model, meshed the frame that based on the coordination of caculating accuracy, scope and time. Finally, it set the frontier reguisitis based on the virtral conditions of vehicle, bulit the large frame finite element model on the large Radar Antenn vehicle.The stress and displacement of the whole vehicle have been computed. According to the analysis results, several improvements on the frame have also been made, the stiffness and strength of frame are calculated, which suffice the request.Based on researches above, the frame of Large Radar Antenn vehicle optimization model has been built including setting the volume of frame as a objective function, the maximum element stress of all model as state variables and the shell thickness of frame as design variables. A new frame model is built by optimization analysis. From this model the structure weight has been reduced by about 13%, the strength and stiffness of frame meet the performance requirements.Then, the frequency of vibration mode of frame is obtained by model analysis. The pulsant wind load is simulated by MATLAB. On the frame for the transient dynamic analysis, the displacement of frame is calculated. The results show that the frame structure can meet the technical requirements on dynamic performance.The results of research privides not only the reference for product designing improving and optimizing for some companies, but also the valuable datas in weight lighting designed and dynamic analysis guidance to solve the actual problems on other products. So, the results of this reasearch has a good economic value and social benefits.
