21st century is the age of cities , Urban characteristic would be intrinsic feature and preeminent aspiration.Otherwise, in the tide of "Newly four modernism", original characteristic has been dispeleded, and"hundurds of cities one aspect"sprong up in newly construction.At present, in the special condition of economic transition , industrial upgrading, fleetness urbanization and high energy consumption, the study deemed that city characteristic should take sustainable development as strategy, keep a foothold in native country, link the climate & ecologic , and build the effective mechanism into practice.Building urban characteristic from climate-ecological view mainly solicitude for the relationship between natural gift and urban characteristic, which wielded the comprehensive analysis mode, broadened the reasonal design train, and improved the technology contents .This thesis cut out a "section" of Wuhan newly developing area (Sixin cluster) as demonstration, looking forward to expounding the new view angle and proving the new method under the rapidly urbanizing background .
