In the area of hydraulic architecture, reinforced concrete structure reinforcing bars and engineering mapping has been a time-consuming and laborious work. Corridor is the more common structure in hydraulic architecture, it is often become extremely complex because of the different terrain or geological situation of the dam location, which makes the layout of steel bars arbitrary without traceable, so increases difficulty of reinforcing bars. Combined with the research of cooperation project"Hydraulic Architecture Construction 3D Reinforcing Bars Design System"by Huazhong University of Science and Technology CAD Center and Changjiang Water Resources Commission, this paper includes the following main contents:Firstly, in view of the weakness of traditional hydraulic reinforced concrete structure reinforcing bars design method, and the realistic demand of current hydraulic architecture structure reinforcing bars design, analysis the functional components of 3D corridor reinforcing bars system, also expatiate on key technical issues related to system, hereby bring forward the overall framework of the system based on levels of expression.Secondly, based on structure of corridor and reinforcing bars feature, summarizes several common corridor shapes. According to the shape similarity of steel bar and construction method of concrete surface structure, the"3D Visual Modeling, 2D Automatic Drawing"corridor general construction strategy is presented. With the practical requirements of Changjiang Water Resources Commission for corridor reinforcing bars design, researches reinforcing bars construction method based on section. To improve the corridor reinforcing bars efficiency, puts forward the new method of corridor reinforcing bars based on"Vitro Reinforcing Bars", and provides the related application examples.Thirdly, based on the reinforced concrete structure 3D reinforcing bars model, brings forward rapid build strategy of 2D steel bar engineering drawings. With the realization of the strategy, researches the 3D section based on section management tree and the bar dimensioning based on rules and constraints.At last, based on the above research and the object-oriented modeling and analysis techniques, one 3D Corridor Reinforcing Bars System for Hydraulic Architecture is implemented. Through related testing shows that the system is accurate, high degree of automation, high efficiency and so on, also test feasibility and accuracy of test the aforementioned theories, strategies and methods.
