The electrochemistry parameter testing system of Li-ion battery was developed through the research of the method of charge and discharge on Li-ion battery and the method of electrochemistry parameter testing. The system is designed for measuring the capacity, the density of energy, the cycle life and the characteristic of cyclic voltammetry of Li-ion battery. So this system can be used in the research of Li-ion battery in laboratory, also can be used to test Li-ion batteries.The system is designed with two levels control system, so it is extendible easily. The master computer offers friendly operation interface and great data analyses processing ability; the slave computer controls the measuring system. The serial asynchronism communication is adopted between the master computer and the slave computer.Being core control of this system, the slave computer module adopts AT89C51 single chip microcomputer. This module sends messages to each device of salve system, and controls and adjusts the work of the other parts. The module is stability, fast reaction, and easy upgrade and extend. The advanced language C51 is adopted to program in the software part of this microcontroller system, and Keil C51 compiler is adopted to compile the slave computer software. The program of the slave computer is easy to be read and understood.PC severs as the master computer. The master computer can control all the system centralizly. The master computer software system adopts C++ as program language and Visual C++ as the developing platform. By utilizing programming method of OPP and strong class libraries of Visual C++, the framework of the master computer's software is clear and the system is extendible easily.The system is designed with the method of Top-Down in the process of system design, and is divided into different modules according to the function of circuit. The system, which is consisting of different function modules, has high reliability and is easy to be maintained. Different modules combination can achieve different system with different needs, which can reduce the cost of the system in large quantities. In order to improve the system's functional reliability further, the anti-jamming ability of software and hardware is considered in the phase of system design.
