Key Technology Research And Development Of Networked CAPP System

With the rapid development of the information industry, network manufacturing which is combined by network technology and manufacturing technology is favored by enterprises gradually, especially for large small enterprises, this emerging technology can not only meet the business needs, but also reduce manufacturing costs, improve economic efficiency, better face of the fierce competition in the market. In this background, network CAPP emerged and become the problem which is needed to be solved urgently. Based on this purpose, after preliminary investigation and analysis, linking the fact of enterprises and using VB.NET and database integration technology, this article developed the network CAPP system, the Web-QUST-CAPP system, in particular researched the system's key technology in detail.This article mainly studied following contents:1. According to the current business needs and its network environment, we designed the CAPP in the Web environment, and introduced the framework structure and function of Web-QUST-CAPP system.2. With the structure and function of the system, we studied the internal key technology. Based on original foundation, we increased material ration management module and equipment management module, improved the calculation and management functions of CAPP system, realized unified management of product information in enterprises, and avoid un-compatibility and data flow backward or inconsistencies.3. We studied the external key technology of CAPP system, then integrated technology. Through the relevant procedures, we realized CAPP and CAD information-sharing, so that we can quick transfer,revising the CAD graphics, and generate the corresponding process cards in the course of the formulation process.4. Aim at the operation habit of craft personnel, we developed friendly,simple interfaces with VB.NET, and let SQL Server 2000 which can provide resource-rich process information for enterprises as database support. During operation, we can realize the inquiry,modify and storage of process resource. The system also support LAN data sharing, and it have reliability,security and maintainability.
