Several problems on mesh generation technology which is used usually in hull structure finite mesh analysis are researched in this paper. The contents are as following: mesh generation and refining, boundary element identification, mesh processing on ship hatch, mesh amending and study of buckling strengthen evaluation.It is common method that hull structures strengthen is analyzed by finite mesh analysis software. Based on hull structure panel buckling evaluation system developed by CSSRC and CCS, mesh generation and refining, element identification, mesh repairing are researched, panel buckling software is improved, the all workflow is automated. A method that calculation results of sparse mesh model become analysis LBC of refine mesh model is presented according to precise requirement of sparse and refined mesh in the stress concentration region, and refining mesh algorithm based on transition element is realized. hull structure buckling problems are discussed according to hull common structure rule, create geometry, meshing , add loading boundary condition, define property in analysis model with the above method, yield and buckling strengthen is calculated, design scheme is evaluated and improved according to the analysis result. The results show that the method can not only resolve efficiency problem partly in ship engineering analysis processing, but also improve analysis efficient of ship design and shorten approval cycle. The method becomes a part of CCS advanced buckling evaluation calculation program.
