City Street Corner Methods Of Building-integrated Design

Corner space in the city to play the role of the node, the corner building as themain constituent elements of the corner space for urban space and urban formcharacteristics of the shape space are of great significance, As the important urban space,the corner space is shouldering “the transportation”,“the leisure”,“the landscape” andso on urban functions. Therefore, compares with other position’s construction, streetcorner building design issues to be considered more and more comprehensive. However,in practice of urban planning and architectural design, we are focused only on the issueof unilateral responses, without an overall consideration and neighboring relationship.Corner of space has led to a series of questions, for example, the corner space formbroken roads, traffic congestion, lack of user-friendly series of problems, seriousenvironmental problems requires that we should be doing around the corner when theoverall sense of architectural design, and implement it to the actual work. The purposeof this article is also hoped that through the survey and analysis on urban and on anumber of success stories of the analyses, explore a city street corner buildingintegrated design principles and laws.In this paper, the corner space on the corner building and theoretical conceptsrelated to a detailed exposition of the corner space on the corner building and therelationship to do in-depth discussion on the city street corner building designconstraints made a detailed analysis. On the basis of summing up the cornerarchitectural design principles, namely:"overall continuity principle" and"discoverability principle","functional adaptability principle","principles ofengagement". In thecourse of the study, this paper focus on integrating theory with practice, therefore, thisresearch results more meaningful, more operational, urban design has a very goodreference.
