With the general installation of the AIS in the ships,people pay more and more attention to the development of the AIS technology and its wide application in the future,The aims for the mount of AIS are for ship's automatic identification,assisting the targets tracking,reducing the voice reports,simplifying the information exchanging,and offering the additional information to help know the ship's transportation state,So far,AIS have been installed on more and more ships as an important tool for ships navigation,After IMO MSC 69 meeting accepted the standards of AIS capability in 1998,most manufacturers of AIS all recast old products and develop new ones according of the new standards by IMO and ITU,With the rapid development of worldwide shipping transportation,a new draft which ITU-RM1371~*2 was published in 2006,The new draft introduce Class-B AIS based of CS-TDMA technology,As new technical equipment,it was widely used in the offing and inland river in our country.On the bases of the AIS technical standards and international application status, this paper analyzes the CS-AIS system and designs the important models of it,This paper mostly includes the following parts:(1) It designs the whole scheme of the AIS receiver system,illustrates the functions of it and designs scheme of each part,The system is composed of four parts, including RF receiver model,RF transmit model,center control model and user terminal display model.(2) Design and implimention of VHF receiver model,I adopt secondary frequency conversion superheterodyne design scheme and simulate it by ADS (advanced design system) software,Finally,the receiver's output basically satisfies the design target.(3) The software and hardware design of the display terminal on the basis of ARM S3C2410 microprocessor and embedded Wince in the paper,For the system's upgrading and rebuilding,the model reservats some resource of hardware and software.In the paper,I put the embedded technology into practical use of the AIS receiver scheme designing and uses ARM microprocessor as the kernel processor of the display terminal,accomplish the managing,decoding,transmitting and displaying of the information,and furthermore,pick up part of the dynamic and static information according to the need,send the data demodulated to the buffer of the ARM microprocessor and display it on the LCD.
