Truss transformation structure has lots of advantages,such as reasonable in load-bearing,small to earthquake reaction,flexible in building layout,large in useful space,and convenient and quick in pipe arrangement.The muti-layer truss transformation structure is one of the popular programs in theoretic reseach of transformation level in recent years.Based on the site engineering example of the multi-layer truss transformation structure,in this paper,homogenizationg mentod for optimization,artificial material,evolutionary structure optimization in current topological optimization,and topological optimization in ANSYS, TOSCA and HYPERMESH-OPTISTRUCT are analyzed deeply,the multi-layer truss transformation structures in vertical and horizaontal loads,and in conditions are optimization by means of the topological optimization in ANSYS and HYPERMESH-OPTISTRUCT,the optimized transformation structure and conclusion are in keeping with topological optimization structure of the sile engineering example,and the these optimized structure are in close agreemeet with the model test results.The research shows that the topology optimization method is feasible for applying to optimization design of the multi-layer truss transformation structure,and that conclusion on the multi-layer truss transformation structure by the topology optimization method are reasonable.
