With rising energy prices in recent years and the energy crisis, hydrostatic transmission system not only has to meet complete the function what people need, but also take into account the most effective use of energy. In the high efficiency pursuit of industrial enterprises, secondary regulation technology of hydraulic characterizing for saving energy has aroused enough attention and gotten more research and applications.This paper summarizes the technical development of secondary regulation at home and abroad, overviews the difference between secondary regulation hydrostatic transmission system and traditional hydraulic transmission system, and analyze its regulation principle and four control methods. According to the structures need of test bed, rotational velocity control system is studied deeply. Rrotational velocity regulation is the most commonly used and the most basic regulation method in second regulation system on the base of which other regulation methods is studied. In this paper, second regulation system is analyzed with rotational velocity control method, introduced the main components of the system structure and control functions in detail. Under the MATLAB / Simulink environment, this paper sets up the simulating model of rotational velocity control system, studies the effective factors of change in load torque, set speed change, load fluctuations and adding pressure accumulator, and the effects of every factors on system control system is attained. This paper also compares the effects of system on traditional PID control and cascade PID control,With the research and design of the secondary regulation velocity control system test-bed, using dSPACE simulation system, a mathematical model of test system is established. In view of effects of every factors, many tests are studied in the test bed and a lot of test data are analyzed. On the bases of test results above, the control performance of the secondary regulation velocity control system and effect factors on it are verified once more, which provides theoretical basis.
