With the progressive development of computer, automation and communication, the automaticity of enterprise electricity monitor control system is increasing higher and higher. Electricity is the primary part of enterprise economy development and the electricity monitor control system is the main method to ensure the security and stabilization of electricity. It also enables attendants to know every substation of the electricity department, all kinds of instruments and system's work status at real-time. It is able to control system by setting parameters. The electricity monitor control system plays an important role in the automation and security of electricity. The automation of electricity monitor control system in our country isn't quite good. Many old systems are still in use. Therefore the study of the enterprise electricity monitor control system which accords with the real status of domestic enterprise is quite significative.Through the analysis of the structure features and development trends of advanced electricity monitor control systems which are from domestic and abroad, this paper studies and designs both the electricity monitor control system based on field bus and the network of management information system. This system uses Profibus at the field level, uses PLC-300 which produced by Siemens at the control level and Ethernet at management level to consist the electricity monitor control system. The paper also introduces Profibus protocol, transmission medium and the characteristic of network detailedly. It also designs the hardware and software on STEP7 and MCGS. This system can collect data, control device and fire alarm and all above can feedback from the field level to MCGS. For the power factor of this system is low, this article improves the capacitors' scheduling algorithm of the reactive power compensation equipment which enhances the performance of this system.This electricity monitor control system accords with the domestic enterprise status and the development trends of the monitor control system. It designs the network of the monitor control system and shares the data at a long distance. This system improves the phenomenon which the power factor of this system is low. It enhances the system's security, reliability and makes the system cost lowly. All of these are useful for both the localization of electricity monitor control system and the improvement of system performance.
