At present, more and more ships has installed the automatic identification system (AIS),As the complementarity of the radar, It supply the important Aid to navigation in the message exchange and collision avoidence of the marine collision.The technical prospect and extensive application make the Automation Identificaton System(AIS) recognized by more and more people.AIS has the extend application in the aviodence between shipings, aid to navigation, searching, rescuing and VTS(Vessel Traffic System). However, as one of aid to navigation, It has less application in the AIS for navigation mark because of costs and other reasons. So the exploitation of a fully functional, low-cost navigation mark with AIS to replace the existing navigation mark, is of practical significance to realize the digital information, to improve maritime safety and to enhance maritime economy.Firstly this thesis puts forward the meaning of the project, and analyses the main technique and principle of the realization of the AIS for navigation mark on the base of the comprision with the universal AIS. Including the analysis of communication protocal and gives the program flow chart of its realization. Secondly this thesis studies the basic constitute of the embedded system, the environment and method of exploitation of ARM9-LINIUX embedded system. Later this thesis puts forward the collectivity design, researches how to establish the platform of the system. Finally this thesis puts forward the design of the man-machine mutual interface. Discusses the constitute of data-link layer and the hardware design .This thesis discusses the message structure of the AIS for navigation mark, Studies the coding methed of the message and gives the program flow chart. This thesis has realized the main function and sub-function of coding task in the linux emulational terminal. the system has realized the output of data package which is suitable of the standard of the ITU-R M.1371-1 and the IEC61162.
