The Architectural Introspection Of The Plight Of Residential Clubhouse

Residential clubhouse has become a necessary part of many commercial residences, although its history is very short. Undoubtedly, residential clubhouse is an important factor to enrich the daily life of resident and promote communication of neighbors. But its'existence condition is gloomy. The author attempt to find the cause of formation and the countermeasure of the plight of residential club following the perspective of planning and architecture, and make the development of residential clubhouse return to the track of benign track.This paper is composed of four part. Firstly, from the concept and history of residential clubhouse, it put forward that residential clubhouse appeared and developed with the theory development of residence and residential public service, and its main function is recreation. Secondly, it analyze the cause of formation and countermeasure of the plight of residential clubhouse in three hierarchy.On the planning cognition, the paper proposed that the rooted-reason of the plight residential clubhouse is defining residential clubhouse as commercial service and management at the same time. It put forward making clear the property right and the relationship between clubhouse and resident, and the resolving way is setting service clubhouse and management clubhouse respectively.On the policy and statute, the paper proposed that short of the standard to control and guide leads to uncontrolled scale and unreasonable subjects setting, which makes management harder and impacts its service effect at the same time. It put forward that it is necessary for clubhouse out of plight to control size properly and set subjects reasonably.On the designing methods, this paper proposed that the utilization of clubhouse is impacted by scarcity of designing skills, for example, regardless of the character of clubhouse building, ignoring to shape exterior space, pursuing excessively the formation, neglecting essential demand of user, violating the scale of humanity, monotone geometry figure. It put forward that clubhouse designing must follow the character of clubhouse building, and stand to the principle of humanity, economy, integrity, development.
