This dissertation mainly deals with case packing system. For the demand in secondary packing industry for n-pvc-transfusion and under the support of Jiangyin NEJ Packing Machine Company, a case packer based on Diamond robot is designed. This is a typical mechatronics design and achieves great success through system integration. The following work is accomplished:The case packing work of the factory is carefully observed and detailed information is got. Then system requirements analysis is done. Compare of the solving plans proposed according to the system requirements analysis is made and final solving plan with high speed, low cost, good flexibility is achieved, that is an integrated case packing system using high speed parallel robot Diamond as its kernel part.According the path of moving platform and characteristic of the working space, the working space of manipulator is decided. The relative position of sub-assembly and the system distribution is figured out. The mechanical structure is designed and virtual prototype is built.Configuration of system hardware and software is proposed according to the system requirements. Signal insulation and driving of large current unit are accomplished. Electronic and control system is built. Using modularized software structure and based on data flow, software is programmed by Labview graphical language.The whole system is debugged after its settlement. A path with large radian and different maximum acceleration out and home is proposed to increase operating speed. On the basis of that, parameter setting experiment is done to minimize the waiting time of pick and place operation, achieving the speed of 80 times per minute.The high speed integrated case packer fulfills the blank of the domestic market.
