Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is one of important means of detection and analysis. With the expansion and deep-going of NMR's applications, the technology of NMR spectrum keeps developing and improving as well. Although conventional commercial spectrum is powerful, it has complex structure, big size, and is sold very expensively, thus limiting its wider applications. In many cases, in teaching, for example, what is required is this kind of NMR spectrum which is simply structured, small-sized, cheap and highly integrated. Thanks to the development and maturity of ARM (Advanced RISC Machines) technology, this paper proposes a system design of ARM-based integrated magnetic resonance imaging spectrum. In this paper performance test results of different parts of the spectrum, imaging results of the whole system, and the discussion on these results and the development of this system are also available.Main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly, mainly on the principle of nuclear magnetic resonance, the principle of magnetic resonance imaging, and the structure of magnetic resonance imaging system.Secondly, mainly on the concept and basic principles of ARM and brief introductions to some relevant softwares.Thirdly, mainly on the development process of integrated spectrum, and make description of hardware design and software design of both the motherboard and the core board.Fourthly, mainly on the performance test results of this system, the debugging experience, existing problems and expectations on this system.
