| In this article, through the method of inspection North China Folk Art and the outdoor environmental landscape of Residential District are combined to explore a new way of the regional landscape expression, and Application to practice,which is come from the Enlightenment of the successful regional landscape cases.Research topics include the following:Chapter I, the concepts and theories of outdoor environmental landscape of Residential District are clearly researched to determine the scope of the research, theoretical support and research methods.Chapter II, throngh analysis of all parts of North China and the Chinese folk art in-depth, their concept and philosophy of modeling and color characteristics and creative ways are refined.Chapter III, impact is analysised of natural and cultural profile of North China on outdoor environmental regional landscape of Residential District, and then the impact is deduced of above on the landscape design.Chapter IV, enlightenment of methods of the regional landscape design is drawn from the successful landscape design cases , which include that multi-cultural integration is essential reason to successful landscape design; that regional landscape design relies on the study of traditional culture and regional landscape; that modern means of artistic expression is needed in Regional landscape design.Chapter V, the method is summarized of application of the North China folk art in outdoor environmental landscape of Residential District, which is outdoor environmental landscape of Residential District is created by in-depth grasp of the philosophy of folk art and artistic conception, geographical and cultural patterns and the meaning and significance of modern living environment outside, with the creative way of Folk Art forms and color, through modern aesthetic and modern art means .
