Discussion On Landscape Plan And Design Of Green Land Of Modern Campus

For a long time, the environment of campus in China has more maintained a traditional style and the main concept of campus is to providing the buildings and its adjunct of learning, experiment and life. It is more emphasized on study, research, and other functionality in campus. But in recent year, under the guidance of the principle of"science and education to rejuvenate the nation"the investment on University has been continued to increasing. At present, a number of universities has expanded their campus or constructed new campus. Therefore, it is imperative to research the new concepts and new forms.It is almost equally important on the internal space of the constructions and their external environment. The universities should pay more attention to the landscape design because the students are outside the classroom for more than 50%. It should be the first thing and most important thing to provide a vital and cultural campus to all students. Based on the development of landscape planning in domestic and foreign universities,this article conclude their types and contents and investigate the campus landscape design, which take South Campus of Northwestern University landscape design as an example.
