At the moment, the satellite industry is experiencing a high speed development, and the electrical equipments in satellites become more and more complex as the function extension of satellite. During every step of satellite design and manufacture, data test requires to be carried out to ensure the satellite's design is correct and the test is adequate, because maintaining satellite on the track is not applicable. Thus a system which can manage the satellite's testing data is needed to support the simulating of testing data during the designing and manufacturing of satellite.However, existing satellite testing data managing system bears weaknesses in poor robustness, low interface compatibility, long set up cycle, long searching time and etc. According to the requirement mentioned above, the satellite testing data managing system based OSCAR database proposed in this thesis is a software system that tries to mend these weaknesses.Optimized searching mechanism in several database systems including Oracle is discussed, and then in allusion to the OSCAR database an algorithm that improves searching speed through the combination of horizontal and vertical zoning is proposed. Based on this algorithm and C/S frame, the system architecture is designed. Through the structure design and function design of data modeling tool, data receiving tool and data searching tool within this system, the satellite testing data managing system is achieved. More, under the system design, applying the C/S frame, searching plan, multi-threading technique and iterating time point technique, the system is coded with C# language under the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005.Now this system has been used in a researching institute of satellite for a month. During the time, this system can match the requirements of data storage, data finding, and data plotting. This system also plays a good role in the rate and the stability of searching and the data security.
