Based on the science and technique developing item of the ministry of railways which aimed at studying on the uniting micro-computer-automatic block between railway stations instrument, the paper studied on the safety-related communication of the micro-computer-automatic block between railway stations system. The programming realization of the safety-related communication function met the safety-related communication requirement in closed transmission systems of international standard IEC62280-1. In addition, the paper also studied the design safety-related communication simulation subsystem of micro-computer automatic block between railway stations system, which simulated the typical communications failures of micro-computer automatic block between railway stations system, tested the various state of communications system, made the record of simulation result and analyzed so as to verify the design of safety-related communication in error control of information transmission.Firstly, the paper analyzed necessity of the study of safety-related communication simulation sub-system of micro-computer automatic block between railway stations system, introduced the research background and significance, and described research status of home and abroad. Secondly, it researched and studied the railway applications standards, such as IEC62280-1 to some extent, analyzed the applications of these standards in safety information transmission of railway signaling based on the communication system. Thirdly, it analyzed safety-related communication requirement of micro-computer automatic block between railway stations system. Fourthly, we designed safety-related communication protocol, analyzed the communication time order of system, achieve the identification of the transmission and judgment and handling of communication disruption. Fifth, according to the software engineering method, we designed the structure of safety-related communication simulation sub-system of micro-computer automatic block between railway stations system, and the main function modules of this subsystem include: communication message analysis, communication failures setting, simulation result analysis. Finally, it introduced the safety verification of safety-related communication subsystem.
