The paper is oriented to the science and technique developing item of the ministry of railway which aims at studying on the uniting micro-computer -automatic block between railway stations instrument, The paper study on making up of the automatic block between single-track railway stations system by new way of integrating the micro-computer block between railway stations and the existing axle counting technique, the use of the system changes the existing artificial manner of transacting block between railway stations, while the route of train for leaving stations is transacted, block between railway stations is automatic transacted, in addition, when the whole train arrives in the opposite station, the block instrument in the stations automatic reset according to the axle counting information, the time for transacting block and affirming the train arrival becomes less, the carrying capacity of section is improved evidently, the imperfection of all-relay semiautomatic block which includes no vacancy check for the section and no verification to block instrument full is eliminated, it is important significance of improving carrying safety and the level of carrying automatization.The paper's main content consists of introduction, the brief introduction of section block, summarize of system design plan, hardware total design, software module design, maintenance device design and control console design. In which in the introduction part mainly to this system research significance and the necessity, the domestic and foreign correlation research present situation has given the explanation; Then the essential method and mode of section block, main merits and faults of the semi-automatic block as well as the technological transformations have carried on the introduction; At the basic of the system technique condition and the basic function, the system total framework is designed, and according to its technical specification and the basic function proposed the system hardware overall concept design method, both the function of the main and the work principle of the system are explained; At the basic of the principle of software design and the detail demand of the system, the software total design is produced, the detail design of the main function modules which composed of block module, communication module and axle counting module is explained; At last, both the maintenance device design and control console design are explained.
