To tall building,because of the requirement of architectural function,in the lower part,frame columns with small rigidity are laid to get large space which is used as marketplaces and recreational sites;in the upper part shear walls with large rigidity are laid to get small space which is used as residences and offices.To obtain this type of structure,transfer story must be located between the lower part and the upper part of high-rise building.For recent years,in seismic region,many transfer storys are located high position,usually on the 3rd to the 6th story,some on he 7th to the 10th,even higher.Tall building of frame-shear wall structure with transfer story belong to complex structure.This structure is flexible in the lower part while firm in the upper part.Many of this structure type surpass code limitation in locating position of transfer story,so it is disadvantageous to antiseismic.This paper study the seismic response characteristic of the tall building with high transfer story by finite element calculation of program ETABS 9.0.This paper mainly has analyzed influences of transfer story position and the ratio of equivalent shear rigidity of transfer story and style of shear wall linked with the ground on dynamic behavior and antiseismic performance of the tall building.The main contributions in this paper are as follows:(1)In different transfer story position has established three-dimensional finite elements computations structural model,By analyzing the earthquake response of the structural model that bear the same typical acceleration response spectrum,we can obtain the weak story and draw conclusion of influences of transfer story position on antiseismic performance of the tall building.(2)In same transfer story position has established several three-dimensional finite elements computations structural models,the models have different ratio of equivalent shear rigidity of transfer story by changing the chick of their shear wall.By analyzing the earthquake response of the structural model that bear the same typical acceleration response spectrum,we can draw conclusion of influences of ratio of equivalent shear rigidity of transfer story on antiseismic performance of the tall building. (3)In same transfer story position and same ratio of equivalent shear rigidity of transfer story has established three-dimensional finite elements computations structural models,the models have different style of shear wall linked with the ground,earthquake response spectrum and Time-history analysis will be done when the models bearing the same earthquake,from the analysis we can draw conclusion of influences of style of shear wall linked with the ground on antiseismic performance of the tall building,and some suggestions to design of the building are given.
