High-rise building with transfer story is a kind of spatial structure whose anti-lateral force system is complicated and side stiffness mutation exists along its height. The vertical members resisting lateral forces are connected by transfer floor to work together .The floor will not only sustain the horizontal and vertical loads, but also redistribute the internal force of above and below stories. Although the in-plane rigidity of transfer floor is large, its deformation is still notable. This thesis summarized the research situation and engineering applications of struc-tures with transfer story both abroad and home. It expounded designing methods of shear wall structures supported by frame. It also analyzed the effects of floor deformation on dynamic characteristic in structures with horizontal load. Then it discussed different pa-rameters which affect the floor rigidity and derived the law of internal force in shear wall structure supported by frame caused by transfer floor deformation. Finally it researched whether there is some kind of reasonable stiffness model which can truly incarnate the in-fluence of different parameters on floor rigidity. The finite element model is established by ETABS and it is compared with the formal model built up by SATWE. Compared with the model with rigid floors, the lateral stiffness of model with flexible floors is feebleness, while its natural vibration period is longer. The structure displacement and the relative story displacement of the model with flexible floor are bigger than that of the model with rigid floor. But if the vertical members are reasona-bly arranged, the lateral stiffness ratio of stories above and below transfer storey can still satisfy the restriction of criteria and conceptual design of structure. The calculating me-thods are discussed in which structures are separately based on flexible and rigid floor as-sumption. And also effects on floor rigidity are researched which were of thickness of floor, length-width ratio, quantity of shear wall falling to the ground and seismic intensity. The shear force ratio of members resisting lateral force is introduced in the research. When floor deformation occurs, its incidence on the shear force in members resisting lat-eral force depends on its lateral stiffness. Through the computation data and theoretical analysis, it is derived that the shearing rigidity model can measure floor rigidity more rea-sonably. Meanwhile, the influence of different parameters can be truly incarnated.
